New Jersey Paid Family Leave program provides the majority of New Jersey workers with cash benefits when they need to take time off work to care for loved ones. New Jersey Family Leave Insurance is one of only a few of its kind in the country, and it provides New Jersey workers’ economic security when caregiving needs arise. The benefit provides workers with 85% of their income up to a weekly maximum amount to provide care for an ill or injured loved one, as well as to bond with a new child.
And the cost to Employers – nothing. NJ workers fully fund the program through their payroll contributions.
Join us to hear from Yarrow Willman-Cole of New Jersey Citizen Action and convener of the Time to Care Coalition as she break down the details of this program, how to apply, changes that are coming, and the impact it has in helping NJ residents access the time and resources they need to be caregivers.
